* This workshop also serves as “Everyday Forms of Ethnicity and Religiosity in Kurdistan: Comparative Inquiries into Social Organization of Cultural Difference and Crossborder Interaction in Iran, Iraq, and Turkey”, the 2nd meeting AY2025.

This international workshop brings together scholars of history, anthropology, political science, and area studies to examine Kurdish worlds across time and space. Through historical and contemporary perspectives, it explores boundaries, belonging, and the making of Kurdish society from the early modern period to the present, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and international collaboration.
